Recycle at Work

Companies participating in our programs gain significant benefits at very little to no cost. These benefits are:

College-level interns do the job for you. Apply for a pollution prevention internship program. The program provides highly qualified college-level engineering students for 12 weeks during the summer. The intern works directly with company personnel to decrease production costs and improve performance through energy and material conservation.

We connect you to recycling resources. Contact our environmental specialist for waste assessment information. We help companies connect with local recycling processors. A well-developed and well-run recycling program can help your business reduce waste disposal costs and enhance your company's image.

Join a network of green companies. Pledge to "go green," reduce environmental impacts and stay connected through a network of companies taking part in the "Go Green" Challenge. As a member, your business receives a certificate, gains access to green-pledging businesses and environmental professionals and is invited to attend monthly meetings and an annual   recognition celebration. There is no cost to participate.

Yes, we give you $ to recycle. Apply in the fall for up to $2,500 in grant funds to implement or improve recycling at your facility. You can use grant funds to subsidize the cost of recycling equipment (bins, etc.) and services. Companies must provide a 25 percent match in grant funds.
